Car Show Drawings

I love attending car shows whenever I can and look forward to painting and drawing whenever I attend one.  It’s a great way to keep my skills honed and the rust off my arm as a beloved mentor used to say. I have dozens of car show drawings I’ve made over the year, these are some of my favorites.

1953 Chevy 210 “rat rod”, drawn at the 2018 Lead East car show. This is the car that made me start paying attention to rat rods as a category, the lines of the car are so beautiful that the rust gives it more character and a lovely patina with a little “Mad Max” vibe thrown in as well

Memorial Motor Madness is one of my favorite car shows that I look forward to every year, always a good crowd and almost always amazing weather too. This entry was Len Feinberg's car that year. Len frequents many of the same shows I do, but always with his camera gear and a great ride
